Raygan Mida, Graduate Teaching Assistant
Raygan Mida is a dedicated percussionist and educator from McKinney, Texas. She recently earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Oklahoma State University, where she marched on the snare line with the Cowboy Marching Band from 2020 to 2024 and served as a drumline technician in 2025.
Raygan's marching experience extends beyond the collegiate level. She marched snare drum with the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2021 and with the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2022 and 2024. Her DCI background reflects her commitment to excellence and passion for the marching arts.
In addition to her performance experience, Raygan has built a strong foundation as a percussion educator. She maintains a private lesson studio and has worked with numerous high school percussion programs and summer camps throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Her teaching focuses on musicality, discipline, and developing a deep appreciation for the art of percussion.
Now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Performance at the University of Delaware, Raygan serves as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band. She is excited to contribute her experience and enthusiasm to the UD community and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers to find beauty, purpose, and connection through music.
