Megan Atkinson, Bass Drum Instructor

Megan graduated from the University of Delaware in 2022 with an Honors degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. She played bass drum in the UDMB from 2018-2021. 

Her marching experience began at Unionville High School and continued with Imperial Dynasty (‘19 and ‘20) and the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps (‘21 and ‘22). Megan has been teaching the Unionville HS marching band and indoor percussion programs since 2020. She’s been teaching with United Percussion 2 since the 2024 season, and began teaching the UDrumline in 2024 as well. 

Outside of the marching arts, Megan works as a Zookeeper!
