Seth Hastings, Bass Drum Instructor

Seth Hastings was a member of the UD Drumline from 2012-2015 where he played cymbals and snare drum. His marching experience includes playing bass drum for the ensembles Imperial Dynasty Indoor Drumline in 2013, Cadets Winter Percussion from 2014-2016, Cadets2 Drum & Bugle Corps in 2014, and Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps in 2015.

Seth began teaching at the University of Delaware in 2016 as a bass technician. He has also taught various independent ensembles in a number of roles such as Imperial Dynasty Indoor Drumline, Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps, George Mason University Indoor Drumline, Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps, and many school programs in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Outside of the marching arts, Seth is a Band Instrument Repair Technician and Location Manager for Zeswitz Music in Dover, DE.
