Anthony Maldonado, Graduate Teaching Assistant

Anthony Maldonado (B.M. Music Education, B.M. Percussion Performance, West Chester University) is a graduate student at the University of Delaware studying Percussion Performance. He is a percussionist with the Bucks County Symphony, teaches K-12 and college-level music students at Marchwood Music, and is a founding member of Mosaic Percussion. At UD, Anthony is a Graduate Assistant with the Marching Band, a Research Assistant with the Music & Autism Research Project, and performs with the Concert and Percussion Ensembles. At WCU, he’s performed at the 2021 PMEA Festival in the Poconos, the 2023 NAfME regional conference in Rochester, NY, and internationally throughout Germany. Anthony has over a decade of experience in the marching arts, performing with the West Chester University "Incomparable" Golden Rams Marching Band from 2019 to 2022, and teaching marching band and indoor percussion at local high schools. In concert, Anthony has also had the opportunity to perform alongside Michael Burritt, Gene Koshinski, Vadim Karpinos, Greg LaRosa, and Matthew Coley.
